Why Cup Coffee With Rocky Rhodes?
Rocky is a leader in the coffee industry. His skills are being sought after by his peers and clients alike.
Roasters Guild Executive Council Rocky is enjoying his first year on the RGEC where he is instrumental on the committee to develop course curriculum to teach other roasters. With these classes will follow a certification for roasters as Apprentice, Journeyman, and Master Roasters. Rocky is also assisting with the Coffee Of The Year competition by vetting coffees, roasting samples and judging the finalists at this years SCAA convention.
Q-Grader Rocky Recently passed all of the required tests (21 over three days) to become the nations 14th Q-grader. When you cup with him you will be cupping with a certified master!

What Happens in a Coffee Cupping?
The actual ‘Cupping’ is an evaluation of both what is spectacular and what is wrong in any given coffee. You engage sight smell and taste to judge the coffee. In the end the coffee is sllluuuuurrrrrped from a spoon and the taste analyzed.
At a Rocky Roaster cupping you will be introduced to several coffees and be given a rich education about this elixir of life.
